I really like the way you have the serpent encircling his body. It's also cool how it matches the color of his clothing and hair.

Say, have you ever read the His Dark Materials trilogy by Phillip Pullman? The concept is somewhat like what you've got going here. All the people's souls exist outside their bodies in the form of an animal called a deamon. Children's daemons can shapeshift, but the daemon settles on one specific form when you become an adult.

I think you ought to read it...it's really cool and might give you some insperation for your series.

Now I'll have to go look at your other artwork...I can't wait to see the next one! ^^

It's beautiful Besides the neck I don't really see anything wrong with the body either (lol, if he sits in that position for to long can you imagine the neck ache he'll end up with?).

Your idea reminds me of the 'his dark materials' trilogy ('northern lights' was turned into a film recently, but the books are better!), where everyone has their own deamon, or spirit-i think- in the form of an animal that represents them.
