Very , very interesting picture ,it haves many details to check and see. Lol I had to erase and rewrite a 100 words comment because this awesome work of art need a very ,very good a precise comment Lets lest start with first I like to say the touch of light was a very good move. Since the picture bg is dark ,if you made dark characters it would been a bad combination because they wouldn’t stand a lot. With the light touch you saved the day making the chars stand in a dark bg and also the light touches in the purple bg add a very nice detail(and balances the light with the dark).A very, very hard effect to accomplish that for sure. The bg is a bold combination of purple and light purple and goes very well with the light you added .The designs are good and even if the main feeling of the picture is darkness it got changed by those light sources (fantastic). The light source placed in a master position, adds the master touch to the picture. If it was not for that sources the picture will be to dark and the chars will hardly be noticeable. Great poses of the girls ,I love particularly how you made the girl of the center. For the title maybe a little of red on the chars outfits will help a lot more. Remember rouge is red after all and maybe at the girl of the right (girls hair) would been better in red.One detail is you used a lot purple in this picture. Making the bg purple and adding a lot of purple in the chars will make confusion with bg//character details. The perfect example is how the right girls hair gets lost a little with the purple next to her hair. It´s a very ,very hard pic to comment because you used difficult colors to combine and yet managed to make them work (not an easy job).
I meditated and came to the idea that the light you added saved this picture and made it into a awesome work. It´s very well balanced the darkness feeling is weak so I really love it. I also thought that on the left girl in which added light (form what appear to me a ground source) looses many details because the light makes her facial and hair characteristics loose. When there is light there are also shadows , you need to add those on the face and hair(the cloths have them). Also at the right girl add shadows to the back of the neck ,the back part of the hair, the hats back part. The shadows for the face ,hair, of the right and left girl need to be taken into notice .I was very surprised to see the left girl takes light from a ground source(very original) but also it comes to my mind where is that light coming from, and also, hey it’s posible not to mark the place of it’s procedence (since the bg is the kind of fantasy bg that blocks all external influence).Maybe pass the left light source to the upper part and mark it ,or maybe don’t mark the left and the right source, because I see 1 source but the other one (the ground one) is not there.
In the middle of the is my fav char the center girl(she is the one that stands the most) .You have 2 sources but seems the principal effect of light in the center girl is the left ground source .The hard part of adding two light sources is they both have effect on the characters. That is a very hard work to make both lights effect on the central char.Well you used two light sources that’s the hard part..It´s hard for me to tell where it will be the right place to add the lights to this picture (and the correct source).I think you placed them very well and very originally even if you didn’t mark the source of the ground light. Maybe you could use spotlights (since they appear to be in a stage) to give them light .The center girl need a little of light on her face, hair, hat, from the light sources(just a little touch ).Great details at the outfits I love how you made all 3 chars .I also like the feeling like if there was a ground in which they are standing.Maybe you could add a little of shadow influence on the girls feet to make that feeling of a ground more vicible.Great work you also surpirsed me with this one it´s a fav.I don’t know how you did it but you did it!

I love Moulin Rouge.
You definatley got the theme grasped.
The coloring is really done well,
though the background is a little too much. ^^'
