well in the story that tells how kakashi got his eye there is a background setting of this forest with trees that have these giant mushrooms growing off of them. i thought it would make for a neat backdrop.
What a beautiful and powerful picture. I can feel the emotion. For some reason, I'm getting a lot of detail and (obviously, since I already said it :P) emotional ideas from this. I dunno if it's intentional (probably is), but it's so... breathtaking.
