i myself don't like using chalk pastel very much... i work best with crisp lines... but your use of them is very nice. just enough whites to make the picture pop, which even the splash of red couldnt do on its own. wll done.
Ohh! I like it a lot! And I have to agree with your taste, black and white pictures with a bit of contrast are so much fun and so pretty :3 It's a lovely picture with a wonderful concept. Great job!
