oh, maybe I do need to work on the black. But first I need to get some new colored pencils... my black one is so small right now, I can barely use it anymore

First of all I'd like to say your layering with yellow is amazing. it's flawless. wonderful job.
Misa is a cute character. i really like that you picked her too

I normally like giving constructive criticism to help people advance in their skills and one of the things i could like to see you do- is understand black a little more. i think if you could master using a black colored pencil your drawings will go crazy and be overachieving.

People like things that are dark sometimes and this is the perfect picture to try to use it.
I teach art online, i'm going to get to color next week probably if i get the time to. I'll send you the lesson on black if you want me to. I didn't learn how to use black really for awhile because i thought it was just a normal color like the rest of them but actually it's very different and you have to use it differently just like a white colored pencil.
