I was so delighted to see the wonderfull work with the style of the portrait.I must say first of all the shield type face is one of my favs,in adition you used a wonderfull style in the nose eyes and mouth.The components of the face are well places even if the eyes are big there is no matter because they are well distributed.The ears add a 3-D sense for the final great touch.Nice work at the outfit I really sense the 3-D from it.Maybe a bit more volume to the hair(Im not sure if you placed the hair to early leaving a little forehead but I seen people that have hair like that) .Awesome this is a fav and hope to see another try like this one.
I'm very proud of you for rejecting a picture to copy and making up your own instead! It feels better to do a picture from your own mind, neh? It turned out great! His smile is definitely well done...almost like a cocky smirk. Shows more personality, that's for sure!

Nice shading! There are subtle little piece of him that make him look so familiar. You could probably do realism pictures. Your style is a little of a cross between realism and manga. It's cool.
I think the eyes are good ^^ perhaps they are a little large, but I still like them. I think you drew the ears well too, I can't draw them very well...
I like the mouth too, not smiling, but not unhappy. Fab job ^^ I like the shape of his face.

I don't think I've ever done that kind of picture myself, though I am overdue on a similar premise.
Eyes are tough for me too, a lot of mine don't come out how I'd like them to be either.
There is an odd sense of familiarity with him though, I can't peg it exactly who he reminds me of right now, but I know it will come to me.
