I orignally wanted to do a Halloween Town entry, but my ideas weren't working for me so I randomly sketched the idea for the sea dragon girl and that's the result. Unfortunately, I got lazy with the background and it kind of throws the picture off...

I think this is a good reference. You killed two birds with one stone for getting one (out of the million) references you have to do, and you entered a contest. ^^ Great work and good luck in the contest!
