Try making a color pallette. (A regular drawing file, where you put splotches of colors together to see how they balance eachother. Then you save it and use it for later reference. Comes in handy XD)

Actually I used faber castell pencils (and a bit of the dodge and smudge tool to fix the leggings on photoshop XD)
