thanks again for the suggestions. so rooftop seems to be the consensus. i kinda like a dark mood, but i think i will try both ideas. maybe they could be combined...but would it be out of rei's character to sneak out at night and perch on a school rooftop?

thanks for the compliments! the background was just something i threw in there temporarily to achieve a mood. yah, i think it looks chaotic too ... when i first painted it, i thought it might hint at a landscape right after an N2 mine was set off (like in the first anime episode)...

hi! that's a good idea. i'll think about this for a little bit. i like the mood being dark, i had thought about perhaps including some silhouettes of people/Eva in her mind in the background, but maybe i can make two versions!

Yeah this looks real nice-It kind of looks like she's standing outside in the wind,now for a backround to fit?I agree with Love996-a school rooftop would be the most practical/logical chooice.
