Oh my goodness, he is sooo adorable! *huggles* Wow this is just practice?! O_O It certainly doesn't look like practicing to me at all! Its so amazing! XD It really puts a smile on my face and puts me in a sunshiny mood^^ Great job and keep up the amazing work! =]
This is beautiful!!!!! I love your coloring!!! The background is just gorgeous, and I like how you put the shading on his clothes. Makes it look like he's standing under the trees or something. GREAT job!!
Heck I'm a newbie to photoshop as well. I'm supposed to be practicing with it but I dare not start until I purchase a tablet, new computer with enough ram to handle the damn program, better utensils, and an overall better determination to start using it. XD But getting familiar with it now is something that'll be set aside. I'd rather hone my traditional drawing skills first. :] That's where it all begins, no?
whoaa!!! thank you for u'r suggestion!!! i'm really am not too familiar with the tools yet. but for what you have said, i'll try paracticing using gradients and its techniiques.. whaa and another thing about the tablets... mine sucks... can't buy a wacom cause so expensive still saving money for it!!! thank you 4 u'r tips and suggestions!!! really appreciate it!!
Add some gradients in there! I'm sure it'll look great. Try to compare your pictures with other professional cg pictures. What are they doing that you are not? Just observation alone will aid you in your quest to use Photoshop better with your pictures. I compared a picture I looked up on Google just two seconds ago and compared it with this image and the one prior to it. You aren't using gradients. They make things look better. Plus your lines are very thick. If you had a tablet for PS, then lines wouldn't be much of a problem I assume. Anywho, great progress. Keep up the good work and study a bit more. I'm sure you'll become a fine CG Artist. :D

You did such a great job! I wish I could color like this. Generally, when I color on the computer, I have to use MS Paint, and it turns out crappy...
