Death the Kid is only black and white. lol! I'm still playing around with styles and for this one I was making it look more-so anime-ish in that like most animes, they have pretty detailed backgrounds with more simplistic character colorings.

Thanks! Yes, Death the Kid is what keeps me watching this anime...actually, that's not true, I'd probably watch it anyway because it's AWESOME!!! But Death the Kid makes it that much awesomer.
Oh lord...this took me I think 2 weeks to finish. It's hard to tell exact numbers because I have a full-time job and that pulls me away from my works. NOOOOO!!!! But yeah, 2 weeks...Death the Kid only took me about 4 hours or so including the outlining of him since there's not much to him coloring-wise...just black and white.XD
I don't know the exact name of the anime that BG had come from...the anime wasn't great but it had AMAZING backgrounds and this was one of them...there were characters in this shot so I had to re-draw and re-paint the whole thing. But that's okay because it was such an awesome BG to start with and I thought it fit perfectly with the Soul Eater vibe.
This is so cool, I love Death the Kid! He's so funny when it comes to symmetry, but I think there's a limit to how he should be when it comes to that sort of thing. Oh well, the fans love it! ^_^ ~TS
