when I was little, I used to love going to one down in florida.
then one came to our canadian mall... and it's the ugliest store I've ever seen. It's just a warehouse with clothes inside.
For what the stores are like, I like abercrombie and AE the best... they're not as dark as Hollister, with it's SOCAL-ness, and they don't play their music as loud. (well, I think they don't) - u-

don't worry i buy jackets and sweatshirts from abercrombie sometimes too. 8D
