i cut a piece of paper out that fits over the drawing. normally i just draw it from a picture with a 1 to 1 scale so all i have to do is cut the picture out.
as for the paint splatter, put water on the watercolor in the palet and let it sit for awhile. then put your paint brush in it and pretend like you're going to throw the paintbrush at the paper but don't let go.

But one question...How do you not get the paint on the subject, cuz I would truly love to be able to paint splatter, AROUND a person instead of ON cuz around makes a better effect, and this is definitely one of your best pieces, amazing job...

Yeah I hate it when the scanner ruins my shading...which is all the time. And then sometimes it just makes them look edited...agh! And then people think I lie...it´s a huge mess. But the thing I hate the most is when the scanner takes away my characters skin color, ha ha ha. Makes them really reaalllly white.

I really like how you drew her eyes! And the colors are just amazing. Something though about the left side of her cheek doesn't look to good. I think that part is a little crooked.
But overall it's awesome!
