I'll probably just go out for lunch with my family? I don't really have elaborate plans for my holidays because I prefer to stay at home, lol. I'm in the middle of my one-month end-of-year school break, so New Year's just like any other break, haha. I only have one week left though, before college starts again T-T
Oohh.. that's to bad. It's snowing as if an apocalypse just passed out here in New York. :D I just got back from work too.. I'm going to head out to a friends house, play some Wii with his mother, play some Calibur with him, and Rock Band with his elder brother. Good day to come. ::*nods*:: What are you plans for the new years day?
It rained more often this year than previously. Probably global warming. Bah! And the sun's even hotter now. Couple this with the fact that we're just above the equator.
Oh wow, I see. xD That's pretty cool though. You have your own little "melting pot" out there. :D New York is cooking up a storm. America should I say.. How's the weather?
I was asking someone about that the other day.. Maybe you live in a really inconvenient area. xD I live in New York so everything's within reach, y'know? :P
Haha, yeah. Veterans of Photoshop would probably just raise an eyebrow at all that crazy spazzing =P Oh well, there's always a first time for everyone.
Me too! I've been using Crayola colour pencils to colour some of my stuff. I've searched far and wide for Prisma colour pencils, but even the best art shop in my country doesn't sell it T-T
Veterans of Photoshop... xD I can totally relate to those spazzy statements at the end. And also, Crayola color pencils have served me well. At one point I colored something so well that it looked better than someone's digital illustration. Actually.. there's someone on here that does that more often than they go potty! Traditional is the way man.. ^^d
I might think about joining this contest. I've never made a thief character before. But I haven't been coloring much lately.. And I'm also participating in a few other contests. Ah well...
From what I observed here, first-timers usually use thin but sketchy lines, probably with the pencil tool. It wasn't easy though, I had to undo (Ctrl+Z) many times because I'm a perfectionist like that >_>
Haha, I know. I remembered you spazzing about layers in one of your artworks, lol xD But for you to be able to draw without layers is pretty awesome!
I took a look at the site, I think it's pretty cool... the way you can "write" comments =D I found you there, nice gallery.
Um... what do yo mean by saturated? *stilldoesntknowshitaboutdigitalart*
at the moment I'm using Sai. it's a programe that's licensened Shareware so it's legal and free. it's quiet good. I haven't tested the colouring of it yet but it was meant to be for drawing and colouring anime and manga.
Thanks! =) I spent a lot of time experimenting with the tools and functions first to get familiar with how it works, before actually getting started.
Read the bottom of the pic description, it's Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0. It's the only one that I have right now and it's specifically meant for editing photos... so I'm not sure if it's the best digital art program, though it has all the basics you need for drawing and colouring. You should probably look for others that are meant for creating art =)
Ankles, huh? That's an unlikely thing to look at in a picture, lol. It's either you have a sensitive eye or you just have a weird taste... whichever you prefer =P
Wow, I really love how you draw swords. They rock my sockles!
I also love how you drew the ankles. I love ankles in pictures! Yet...i never draw them ,ha ha ha.
I think your attempt at coloring this picture is FAR better than any of the ones I tried to do. So i give you lots of extra credit! ha hah a. ha...

Nowhere near me, I guess @_@ It's in South-East Asia.
I've seen people mistake it for being part of China though, because of our large Chinese majority, lol. I'm one too, btw.
