For the particular circumstance of a close up the black bg will work well.It´s best use will be to focuz the attention on the characters instead of the bg and here it goes very well.At close ups the bg looses importance so adding black changes the points of fucuz and just leaves the characters on the table.I think it was a wise choice at this one and I really liked that the powers also help you focuz from the bg to the characters.Again they are very well detailed and u used the speace of the picture very well.There are 2 elements tht will drive your eyes directly into naruto or sakuke and thats the black bg and the raikiri and rasengan effects.Great work with those pismas and I can see some light effects from photoshop on narutos rasengan.
