That's a really creative idea. And an awesome game reference at that. ^^ I love the Legend of Zelda games. Even though you say that it doesn't look like Link, that overall feel is still there. I don't know, but I can still see Zelda and Link in their faces and the personality is evident. OR maybe that's just me...
