i used a mechanical pencil 0.7 on this one.. thats what i use most of the time but i recently find a normal pencil 2H better for shading... these are just normal school pencils.. i dont want to waste money buying something expensive which has the same quality as these cheap ones anyway.. pencils are pencils after all.. *^^*

oh yeh.. the one i told u with no color name is a prisma set for beginners.. thats the one i used so far.. they said the premier is much better than the beginner's set.. i cant wait to test it.. i just need to buy prisma sharpeners coz normal sharpeners tends to eat everything... and i forgot to buy the sharpener... coz i thought it was already sharpened.. *spoiled* XD

btw, i already bought new prismas so a little more wait for the coloring tutorial.. i forgot to buy prisma sharpeners.. normal sharpeners tends to eat my prisma.. *learned my lesson* i hope i can record it well.. *^^*

i always smudge the shadings too.. try using a paper to cover that side so it wont smudge much.. *^^*

WOW this is really beautiful for shading and line quality. I think that is charcoal am I correct? Well it doesn't matter the media that you used is superb and is very smooth and blends in together. I love that kind of artwork. Its simply beautiful!

Wow! She DOES look like Enma Ai...except olderish. That WOULD scare me too...sometimes since I've seen the anime a billion times I day dream that I see her behind trees holding a straw doll...SCAAAARRRY!!! That looks beautiful, but the way. I love how you drew her hair! I looks awesome! ^ ^

hell girl... the series is... not that scary.. but everytime enma ai appears i get the chills.. XD i havent watched the 2nd season but the first season, i have and it was fine.. the ending was sad though... most horror stories have sad backgrounds.. *i remembered The Grudge (Ju-On)*
