What program do you use to color your artworks? Most programs make it very easy to size them down. With Photoshop it's easy and I actually prefer to make them smaller since most people wont sit around for a piece that's too big. Plus, people are less likely to be able to steal and edit your piece if it's smaller. Also, with Photoshop, you don't lose the quality shrinking it down especially since it allows you to adjust the quality of the piece when saving.
Yes, the girl could use a little work...I think her legs should be longer. Especially when it comes to anime, the tend to have long legs unless they're chibis.
The resizing is for theO's height and width requirements for fan-art it can't be too huge and when I scan I scan them at high resolution and I save them as .tif usually as well so for theO I turn them into jpeg and make them smaller for theO's requirements.
