Artist do it a lot on Deviant Art, basically, you have a list of prices for your drawings based on the stages, i.e. a price for a sketch, a price for an outline, a price for a completed piece, etc and the people tell you what they want and then you do the piece and they pay you for it. Whether it's by paypal, or check, or money order, or whatever. Hope that cleared it up a little.^^'
