this is absolutely gorgeous! i think you did a wonderful job on blending the colors so well (i could never do it ^ ^;) i've never really done much into oil painting - maybe i should give it a try!

i don't know if i'm the only one who sees this, but it looks like both a morning glory and a colorful woman in a long dress depending on the angle that you see it. it makes the piece look so interesting!

I think you did a good job here ^^ the blending looks nice to me. I've never tried oil painting, but my sister has. She used to have trouble getting the paint to dry - she was always worried out cat would sit on her work >_<

This is quite lovely. Morning glories are great subjects. I love the coloring, how it all flows and blends just like the real thing. Beautiful.

And hehehe about the date error. =P

I know what you're talking about. White is most used colour in any type of painting, mainly for lightening a tone.The same goes for other light colours such as yellow. Anyways it's well shaded and very colourful but like you said, the inconsistincy from the white section to the purple is less than perfect, but that isn't something that a little practise can't fix.Keep those canvases coming!

Wow that's really pretty. Beautiful. y mom is acutally going into oil painting right now but she hasn't started yet. She is a pastel artist but I'm not very good with painting so I stick to markers and programs. LOL Looks great! XD
