So pretty~~ I love how your speed paint is a billion times better than anything I could do in more time. XD She still looks a bit more anime then realism, but it's wonderful nonetheless. <3 I love the hair! There's so much detail in it. *__* I wish I could paint hair like that~ Even if you say there are things wrong, lol, I can't tell. XD Looks perfect to me~
Usually a lot of artist speed paint to acquire fast, rough work for their concept art. They focus more on the lighting, mood and composition. The key to be fast is to know the shape of thing thing need to be drawn, then slap some base color, add mid tones, add some fast details, then finally highlight. This speed paint of mine is just a face and warm up practice (I think its too smooth tho), for real drawings I will spend 3-4 hours on it :)
Try youtube some speed paint artist, especially the ones drawing fantasy creatures (not the portrait ones). Their 20/30mins, and 1 hour work looks like a work spend like 2-3 hours..really interesting! ^^
And thank you for taking the time to observe, I will look through your advice and use it in future works! Greatly appreciated! :hugs:
Hey great job of challenging yourself as an artist! I think this is really good for doing this in 25 minutes I still have no clue how to do this sort of work on the computer.
The hair does look a little flat and I would recommened more shading on hairlines or places where the hair overlaps.
I love the eyes and it looks slightly slanted as in this way / but it looks really good they really pop out to me even though everything is in black and white.
The lips looks a bit odd to me like they are little bit too long in length, maybe the should be longer in width instead? Idk maybe that's your art style if so don't mind me.
great job hug/fave.

I like your work..Its cute and amazing even though it seems you're not that satisfied w/ it..but I tell you, this is great!...you may find inperfections or mistakes but sometimes perfect is boring..

I don't think I would've noticed the mistakes you pointed out. I guess you'd just have to be the artist.
I really like her lips. Those look realistic. And I like the shading on the nose. Her, or your I guess, hairstyle is very cute. I had something similar a year ago. Now it's long. -flips hair-

Totally cute picture, is she supposed to be you? If so then you look amazing, well even if it's not you, the hair spaks for itself. I love it
