I guess I just assumed that the mew project required advanced technology, but there's so much love-powered magic garbage (but we love it anyway) in this show that I guess anything can happen.
Oh, no, in episode 36 they showed the fossil of the Chimera, but in a later episode they said that the Mew Aqua rod was unearthed at the same site, meaning that it must have been left there around the same time. Now, without Mew Mews, there wouldn't be a Mew Aqua rod, so that proves that there must have been some kind of Mew Project going on~!
Awesome idea, but I don't get how she can be hundreds of years old when the technology for the mew project didn't exist then. Ah well.
I like her anyways. =)
