It was confusing at first but after reading a few times I liked it. =D
Her expression is like all gloomy looking and stuff. The colors you used help to emphasize this feeling kinda~

Ah the memories! I read this poem in 7th grade. I remember cause the boys were all giggling at the word breast and the girls went all bugged eyed think about how painful it would feel to be shot there.
Very nice picture. Matches the stanza you chose very well.

xDD Wow I totally remember this poem~! It depressed me a lot though LOL because the overall story was just depressing xD
I really love the details in this~ the scenery is fantastic and you did a great job with the shading and colors ^^ My favorite part has to be the background overall though,you did a very nice job on this Ima-chan! ^^
