Who would have guessed you had a natural hand for painting! ha ha ha! I really love how she is just so at peace and how you blended all the colors in the background...it is just so soothing and makes me smile even when I am mad!
Very cool. I belonged to an art group once that decided that we'd all draw a word out of a hat and do a piece based on that word. The word ended up being "wind" and after much thought, I ended up taking a canvas and several bottles of ink out on a windy day - drizzled the ink on the canvas and let the wind make the the patterns. When you think outside the box, you can come up with so many interesting things...like you did with this one. I very much like it.

I really like how you did that background! It flows so nicely with the way you painted the angel. I like the star effects on the top. It's almost like an anime Picasso!...well, minus the really weird looking people, of course. But the BG looks very stylized and original!
Ahaha, I just got back from work where I was baking cakes -- I had that song stuck in my head the whole time I was there XD my MP3player headphones are breaking so I couldn't do anything but hum it to myself XD ... I want to go and download it now mwahahaha.

That's a neat final project incorporating diffrent mediums into one piece. I'd think your more of a drawer then a painter. I'm mor ef a painter then a drawer..
What type of canvas did you use? Did you have matte medium stuff on it?It really helps blending in the colors I would recommend doing the sort of poke stroke with the brush it works very well for the sky.
Nice job on this hug. I especially love her clothing, cloth? haha

I love the wings, I really like how you painted them, and the sprinkles of, what was it... Graphite? Nice! I think that is my favorite part. She looks so serene and pretty... Nice idea with the border, the sunset part looks really good, I don't often like orange and purple mixed, but it works there.

Yes, I think, it came out pretty well. I know it's pretty hard to paint. That's why I rarely do it (last time I did it was 4 yrs ago).

The angle of the Angel (I couldn't resist) with the picture taking really adds to it instead of hurting it, so you can put that worry to bed.
