Wow Saku-chan, this is beautiful! ^^ So calm and serene but I love it<33 The fitst thing I definitely noticed was the eyes~! They stand out so much compared to the other dark colors and I love how you colored them! ^^
The coloring is alright, don't worry~ you did a great job just going by your instinct<3 I use Photoshop Elements 5.0 and I don't know what I could recommend to you but I'd definitely try experimenting with the lasso tools a bit more for the hair and adding a bit more highlights to differentiate shading~ that might help bring out her hair and clothes a little better.
Overall this looks great as your works do!<3 Keep it up!~ ^^
