yeah thats excellent. I have done a couple of my pictures from copying real ones. But yeah, i guess it does seem i need to spend more time now on getting proportions correct. Thanks a lot for your help. take it easy ;)
The best thing I could reccomend is practice. Anatomy is really tough. What helped me get better was by copying other pictures that had proper anatomy. Also what may help is drawing a preliminary sketch i.e. proportion lines that are light sketchs of aproximately where correct anatomical features would be. But yeah, it helps a lot to simply refer to those proportion figures, real pictures, and there are many sketch aide books that give step by step details on perfecting proportion. I hope that helps! But, like I said you have a lot of talent and practice will make perfect!
thanks LD4. i really appreciate that comment. Ive always been good at faces but not quite as good on body proportions and the anatomy. Is there anything you would recommend to help me out?
You clearly have skill. Her face is very pretty and well drawn, but what is detering from this piece is the anatomy. Her proportions are a bit off and her back curves in too much in addition to her shoulder turning in too much.

You don't need to worry, this does look somewhat 3D! Besides, most manga is 2D anyway, so you don't really need to worry.
Great work! Keep it up!
