kenshin... hmm i was thinking about that for a while now too.. lol.. but now that the majority says it's a guy.. so yeh maybe it should be in the rk fanart section.. heheh..
thanks mariel-chan.. and yes, just trying to get back on my coloring practice with prisma.. *hugs*
ahahah... i couldnt agree more.. lol.. everyone can do a "good" photoshop work because it's programmed to have the good quality, right colors and stuff.. just some tricks and techniques are hard to accomplish but there is the super convenient undo option while as for traditional, we are bound to make mistakes and erase it with an eraser or patch it up to cover ur mistakes.... traditional is indeed more work.. thats why it should be more appreciate because it's purely handmade.. well i understand ur point really.. i like traditional better too.. =P
the hair.. ugh.. i dunno how to explain the hair.. there's like 4 shades for that coz i've mistaken the orange for the sienna brown.. lol.. so i had to use goldenrod to blend it with the sienna.. XD and dark brown for the hair-like lines.. XD oh pls u can do this too.. ur awesome with ur color blendings and pattern-making, i believe the process should be the same with the hair.. color blending and just constant lines... =P
omg.. ur words are like sunshine... *hugs* i always wanted to try water colors.. yes i will someday.. it's probably coz of the babyface feature.. lol.. i wouldnt be able to tell what his age is.. XD
i can TOTALLY tell the difference!! :D and i have to agree, i did see kenshin the moment i saw this piece XD which is adorable to me > U <
if you want to get a look that's different from what you presently create, i say try using a "wet mediam" like water colors or inks <3 that will give you a more flowy look and is challenging ;D for those who are used to dry materials like colored pencils and artist pencils, using a wet mediam can be a great challenge! TRY IT!! you might find something you really love!! ^ - ^
can't forgeeeet!!! I LVOE this piece!! the face is so sweet and youthful!! ; U ;this may just be my fave face in your gallery!! XD LOL wonderful work, hun!!
*puts hand on hips* I WILL TELL YOU THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PHOTOSHOP AND TRADITIONAL AND WHY YOU SHOULD ALWAYS DO TRADITIONAL! PHOTOSHOP IS BAD AND HORRIBLE! IT TAKES NO EFFORT HARDLY! >_< TRADITIONAL IS SOMETHING YOU HAVE TO PERFECT OVER TIME AND DOING IT SHOWS YOU TAKE YOUR ARTWORK SERIOUSLY. you can be good at photoshop the first time! you can't be good at art the first time!
there's too many photoshopped pictures and it sucks because they get so much attention when some people dont even try >_< *growls*
t^t this is amazing and i really wish you would teach me to do hair. please oh please oh please!!! *cries*
Definitely a guy! I will like it a lot more if it's a boy lol, I agree with Avarice, I thought it was supposed to be Kenshin at first. When I saw it, I was like awww so pretty and cute! Gosh too danged cute, I have never seen a cuter kenshin looking person.
Wait...I thought this was supposed to be kenshin! Ha ha ha.
He does look like a boy...but that´s coming from me, you know...all my guys look like girls, ha ha ha. But, even if this were a girl...they wouldnt be very pretty ha ha ha.
Hey, you have photoshop and prismas! Pfft, all I gots is colorific! ha ha ha, which did notice the other day in my pencil box, ha ha ha. Lucky you can choose between prism and photoshop! Ha ha ha, and yeah they do look the same!
But hey if you ever want to save on colored pencils just switch to you know what!
Lol, like the first two comments there, I totally thought this was Kenshin~ xDD Anyways, this is such a beautiful drawing, the details and colors are wonderful~ Nice job~ ♥
