I can totally sympathize with wanting to break away with essays. And from the looks of this, I would love to see you break away from more! :)
Probably what drew me to this was the color choices, but upon closer inspection, the texture of the hair is the real pinnacle of the piece. At least to me, it has the best texture that I could imagine. The eyes are also really great, and the mouth! And even though the contrast is low and bright on the background, I like that you can still see the ear and hair.
