    love the pose and the shading in really good. but you're right, the line isn't really smooth!! BUT, to get smooth lines, try doing strokes, it creates pressure and give you nice smooth lines. C=

    I think that's really good for your first time because I can sympathize with how hard a tablet can be to use. (I don't have one, but I've used one before in an art class.)
    As for a "solution," the only thing I can offer doesn't require a tablet. Since you have the CS3, I'm sure it has the "pen tool." That's what I was told that works easiest when doing lineart. You can plot points and that's how the lines are formed. (Like connect-the-dots.)
