Background was a brush effect (yeah, it really does look like chalk though!). ^^ After loading the pic into my computer, I thought it looked plain, so I decided to add something.
Anyway, thanks for the comment!
The dress is pretty, anc nicely coloured! And how'd you colour the background? I almost looks like you coloured it with chalk (I used to do that to give nice pale colours, especially for stone).
