Yeah, I know a lot about PTSD. I did a paper on it for my Composition class my Freshman year in college. And of course, Dad's taught me a lot about the price of freedom, too. I'm sorry you lost your friends. I didn't know you were a troop yourself! Thank you so much for defending our country. You and your comrades do not go unappreciated.
Tho' its only a drawing. Its the truth. Those who hold a picture like that nowadays know either they come home or a man in a uniform is going to give you the american flag in a box and tell you something you dont want to hear.... Thank you for the comment!!! XD
Im very sorry to hear that...i hope he got his meidcal board. Injured combatants "WILL" have PTSD due to the shock not only in combat but also the blast from granades and bombs. It's not uncommon for a war combatant to suffer stress from images that are burned into their minds.
During my tour their i lost a few good friends on the marine side and army side. The sad thing is i loaded their bodies on the aircraft i fly on...but like they told me..."its just war...most civi's dont know dont care until someone kicks their door down." If anyone has a loved one overseas fighting, you know they have seen losses and death....
sorry to be a little depressing... Thanks you for commenting. I hope your father is well and that you and your family stay stong! Thank you!

That's such a sad story. My dad was involved in Operation Iraqi freedom. He was in Iraq for 2 weeks, and his hummer was hit by an IED. He lived, but he lost half of his left hand. His friend, the guy in the gun turret, died, though. Daddy's not been the same since. He can't watch war movies without getting angry and having to go outside to be by himself and take out his anger. I'm very sorry for the woman who lost her husband.
That's a very good picture. Very emotional. I wish more people would support the troops, rather than talk bad about them. Who do they think is keeping America free?! It certainly is not our President, who's never served in the military a day in his life.
