Oh, but I have to comment on the realism of the stance. If I didn't then I wouldn't be me~ *is shot*
In a sword fight, this stance is good, depending on your speed. If your character is fast enough then they can follow up with a powerful upper slash after delivering the forward one. However, if they're not fast enough, the first swing would be blocked and your character would likely end up with a hair cut.
