Okay! Note to self: Don't use a mouse. My mouse utilizes a laser and I think there's eraser somewhere inside of it. It doesn't run very smooth. So right off the bat, I won't have very appealing linearts. And to me, the lineart must be presentable before I start coloring. Otherwise it gets a little frustrating. >>"
Sometimes I misread lines on the paper when I'm coloring and then I'll wind up going over something that should be another color. I guess that's where the convenience of digital coloring comes into play. D: (Gotta get a tablet...) Unfortunately, I'm really poor now. And backed up in bills. (Just one, really...) So it might have to wait till Christmas. Or until I find a second job. (Good luck with that~ Dx)
Creativity. It radiates from you. That's pretty cool that people recognize you for that. I wonder what people online and off recognize me for? :O (lol, You don't have to answer that one. I'd rather be left in the darkness on that one. xD)
But yeah, I'll totally let you know as soon as I get my hands on one.
Getting a tablet definitely will help you get better results rather than with a mouse. Before getting mine this last Christmas I used to colour with a mouse, it can be done but its harder and demands even more patience and can spent even more time working on it if you plan to make it look perfect. Actually I haven't tried to use the mouse, lately. Heh, I've been addicted to the thing, thinking about using a mouse kinda scares me now. XD
So bottom line of this: yes, it can be done. But it can be quite difficult and you need an enourmous amount of patience and dedication for such an adventure. Not like I'm saying that CG with a tablet doesn't demand lots of patience and dedication though.
Be sure to tell me when you get one so I can give you some guidance with that part then! =D
About my ideas and creativity, funny enough, you aren't the only person who have said that to me. The funny part of all this is, I always thought I the last person being known for her creativity, lol.
But its really great to know that isn't true. =)
Your ideas and creativity is what makes you a better artist than me in my opinion. I have trouble thinking up unique things that capture the eye. Maybe that's what I was trying to say this entire time. xD lol But you definitely excel in that area among others over me.
As for the coloring ordeal. I might need to pick up a tablet before consulting you about anything digital. Without the tablet, things can be a bit difficult, am I wrong? Either that or time-consuming and inconvenient. :P Do you work with a tablet? Or have you worked without one and still achieved the same results you have been getting nowadays? :O
When I draw on paper yes, I do see them! Its hard to see them when I use the computer though, I guess its because of the monitor's light XD
I thought I was the only one that happened that. Its good to know I'm not the only one, then.
Thanks for the tip! I know how hard it is to explain how you do things to others, its the same with me, hehehe
So what do you wanna know about CG? =D
Every time I get a comment from you on my art, makes my day. Like I said you are a great artist, I'm still such a rookie with all of this since I started a few years ago, lol.
Okay, okay... I guess you win the hospitality battle. >:3 Thanks, though. I'm like.. all red now from flattery. >//>
But yeah~! That sounds like an idea. If I actually knew how to explain how I do my lineart as neatly as I can, I would. It might have something to do with--Oh okay.. Well when I look at blank pieces of paper, I don't necessarily see that white mass that overwhelms a lot of people. I see lines. Similar to how if you look at the sun for a few seconds and then look around, you see spots? lol Something like that. So I begin to trace these "lines" I see on the page and then something begins to take shape. From there, I simply do as I see fit. It's kinda weird. Do you ever see those lines when drawing? :D
I'm glad I was able to do something to make your day a little better, even in the least. Hopefully, I can do it again sometime soon. It's very rewarding to see someone tell you that. :]
Line work is so much harder to do rather than colour! Believe me, I know! I'm truly, truly flattered to hear you've been having fun looking at my pictures but admiring me? =O
I'm in awe, really. I AM the one who admire you for being able to draw so well without any flaws, especially body and poses like you do! It demands mad skills!
Sure, adding colours brings out more the drawing but if you don't have a clean lineart, it kinda looks sloppy. So really now, You are the master here. Enoough said. =P
*giggles*
Don't feel so scared, if you are this good as drawing in no time you get the handle of how to colour. There are a lot of good CG tutorials around the web and practising works! So give it a try. ;D
Alright, we can try something. You give me tips to make a more cleaner lines and I'll give you lots of tips of how to colour. How that sounds for you? =D
And hehe yeah the Adam comic truly makes me "aaaawwww" everytime I see it, hehe. I have many other mini comics, I always feel like they aren't funny enough that is why I don't submit them ^_^;;
But seriously Le Kun, you made my day! I feel so honourable to hear something like that coming from someone like you. Thanks so much.

Hahaha. No wai~ You too? I must be getting better. For me to be able to distract YOU of all artists from my mistakes with the rest of the drawing... I give myself a pat on the back. :D
Your drawings/comics are something that I've been admiring for some time. Your short comic strip with Adam was epic. xD I still go, "Awww...." reading it. :] I'm totally in love with all of those colorfulistic eye-candastical submissions of yours. Pssh lines aren't much compared to color. I wish I wasn't so scared of it.

Thanks, Twilight. ^^d When I saw that it was unproportional to his head, I was like, "AWWW F***!!!" >< After a few seconds of angsting, I totally decided to finish it anyway. You know.. I was tempted to scan it with that part cut off. lmao But I like to show people that I'm not as good as they may think. :P (And also that I'm lazy. xD)
Didn't noticed also the right hand until you mentioned, I was also staring at the left hand and overall card doodles. Its incredible how perfect are your lines for just doodles. Mine always looks so sloopy and bleh. Teach me how to do it? XD

The bottom guy's right hand looks a bit too small proportionally speaking. I know how you like to work hard on those kinds of details. Good job, Le.
