Healing Soul takes place between Mt. Hakarai...(I think that's my attempt to spell with memory ) but before InuYasha get's the Adamant Barrage. But it takes place after my other fiction Broken Soul, you should read that first, otherwise Healing Soul might not make much sense.

kikyo comforting inu? sounds oddly warm and fuzzy, like she's his mother...which reminds me, i read up until volume 12 or 13 since i was borrowing them from an old friend, and i saw teh part with the fake mother... the one set up by sesshy fluff master, how she had no face... reminds me of that noh mask that was eating teh faces off people earlier in teh manga...*shivers* i hated that part...

No, for Kikyo, sorry, but I don't hate her. She really is extremely misunderstood, so I don't bash her in my stories. Currently she only appears in Healing Soul, trying to comfort InuYasha, even though the fiction is Inu/Kag. I prefer InuYasha with Kagome, and I think that if the two miko's worked together, their strength would be more powerful then when they fight over InuYasha, in my opinion. Yes, Kagome needs to grow some, and Kikyo needs to overcome some of the past, but I try to keep Kikyo in character from the MANGA. In the anime (I've noticed) someone completely changes her character, making her actions more 'evil' then what Takahashi was implying.

Yea, maybe a chibi Naraku wouldn't be so hard! InuPapa! You haven;t seen InuPapa!? Well, he never 'appears' in either the anime or the manga because he is dead. But the third InuYasha movie you do see him in his human form. So I guess in a way, you see him more in the anime then the manga.

And the four stories I have up are Modern Hanyou, Broken Soul, Healing Soul, and Eyes to Life. Eyes to Life was my known (Taiyoukai InuYasha story, I just changed the title.)

I used to water color when I was back in school (a long time ago) but my art is more down to sketching and making it digital in photoshop.
Of course big eyes can express exaggeration, it would funny to put in a InuYasha douijinshi or something.

I have two drawings in which Sesshomaru is in, on he's dressed in modern clothes, since it's a fiction dedication to an AU [Alternate Universe] story. And one of him and InuYasha in the midst of battle with a skeleton youkai, really a scene from my fanficiton.
I try to draw all of InuYasha's characters, well maybe except Naraku, for some reason I'm afraid he's going to come out looking like a women!
ohh, but it looks like paint in a flow-y kinda way... if that makes sense... XD i can't paint either, man. well, i can color in watercolor... but me and acrylic paint... we not really good together...
yeah, some eyes are really BIG ... like in pita-ten... i need to work on that, though. I WILL! YESH!!

That's not a bad idea if your weakness is the eyes. Though some anime eyes tend to be really large, not InuYasha's of course, but I've seen some over excessive eyes done in anime. (It's scary)
Paint? One word for me and paint, we don't get along! Lol! Trust me if I put a picture I "painted" up here, I would have made a fool of myself. I'll admit I can't paint, I didn't realized it looked like it had been painted.

Shading really isn't my best strength, my wife has a friend that can draw animals to such an extreme shading, it makes mine look like a five year old did it!
Thanks for the tip, I was just really going for my shading techniques here more hen the structure of InuYasha's face. But once I had completed it, the pencil was too dark to erase his large eyes. So I left them that way.
teh eyes are big, yeh. when i draw i tend to draw teh eyes a little big too... so i draw in 3/4 view most of teh time (i'm a little scared to draw full on view... ahh!!)

Yes, his eyes are a bit big and a little too close together, but I know how you can fix that. When you look at someone straight on, the distance between their eyes is about the same as the length of an eye, itself. So, if you can fit a third eye between the character's two eyes, they're pretty much a good distance apart. I hope that tip makes sense and that it'll help you in your future drawings.
Anyway, it's good that you added shading. Shading and highlights make characters much more attractive. So, keep up the good work.
