And about the 'fanart' thing that's been bugging you.
That would bug me, too. fortunately, most of my art is original [like about 90% of it] so i don't think about that.
but i think that people should appreciate your original work as well as your fan work because you do both extremely well.
Plus your style works great for any type of picture.

As far as the message. I know how you feel. I'm normally indifferent with the subject because its just the way things are and if someone is happy drawing fan art and people like it then I guess there's no problem. Even though there are some exceptions XD. But There was one picture of myself (fursona I guess) that didn't get as much attention as I hoped. It wasn't the fact that it was my own work but the fact I spend hours on the picture and it was my best photoshop picture and it didn't get as much attention as my other works. So I get what your feeling.

Its just the way things go and you have to remember that not everyone thats looks at these picture is an artist. They are people with different backgrounds and might not get as much out of the picture, as far as detail, the idea behide it, etc as much as a person that's more creative. And if you don't know who that OC is, you my not get as much as there is in the picture or character. So when they do see a fan picture of a character or show that they know and love, of course they will like it and fav or whatever, I'm just saying all this in general on the internet rather then theO community.

But none the less I get how you feel. One day I want to be known for my OC's and stories but I still love my TMM plus I don't post my beloved OC's or stories on the net since there's a risk of it getting stolen. But one day I will. :3

Sorry if I went into speech mode. XD I feel that fan art and OC's shouldn't be such a divider in the art community since it seems like its been a war between them in the last few years (mostly in DA since I stalk that place for years). We all should love them just like we would want our art to be loved. <:3

and yes I agree with you. Its not much of a problem because I like to have a variety of drawings as well, I just notice how certain fan art gets more recognized than original artwork it self.

About your message, I do agree. But for me, it kinda varies xDD It's not really a matter of where...but yeah when I submit in the more popular fandom it does tend to get more attention. I guess it just depends on which areas people look at more...most people use the subscription to category option and only look at that rather than the portfolio of the whole artist. Upon consideration I've come to realize that sometimes people even take advantage of this fact to create a name for themselves too. Nevertheless you've got gorgeous and fun art KPC-chan so be proud of that! ^^

That is a great pic. I like the pose and shade, you did a good job on her. I feel the same I draw Original character art and gets less recognition usually I hate that. I should be about the art not the character used in the art.
