I would make the lineart on Photoshop but I hate using the pen tool there to line the skecth. That's why I use the squiggly line tool on paint.
I do color it like that. I set the lineart layer to 'Multiply'
I has the same effect as the transparent thing. I don't even if you can set the layer to transparent. LOL

This looks very good. :D I like the shading. ^^ I think you should make the line art and coloring both on photoshop, with the line art on a transparent layer and the coloring on layers under the lineart. That way you can get all the colors in the lines easily. :D And stuff...
You'll get the hang of using a mouse! >3< The mouse is indeed very annoying. x3
