YOU!!! Sorry for my rude-ness, but I've seen some of the best hair come from you. I know you don't use photoshop or anything, but how you make hair so detailed is amazing! If I could only learn how to make such detailed hair, then I wouldn't need to figure out how to color it, because the detail has already been done.

Ehh, that's okay! But thanks for the compliment! ^ ^ Poses are hard...I had to watch this video over and over again to figure it out (the pose is supposed to be from a music video).

Well the way I color hair uses the pen tool...
I treat the hair like I'm coloring each strand ^^
Except not EVERY strand, that's just impossible xD
This is how I do it...

1.) Fill in the hair with the base color
2.) Using the pen tool, click the source of the strand (scalp), then click and drag to curve it to the end of the strand. Then, just close it in by connecting it to the first point to made to get a clean strand.
3.) Repeat using at least 4 colors- Darker than base, Lighter than base, More Saturated/Less Saturated than base, and then at least one color that is very close to the base color but slightly different. This makes a big difference in the texture C:
4.) Either leave it this way for a cell shaded look or use the blur tool to slightly blend it in ^^

And voila! <3
