green does fit as well, idk, i like all bright colours @.@!!
XD my hobby of drawing straight to the drawing washy off a bit, idk what to put in the background, i like it X3 i jsut experimented on gradient

I think blue fits him well. Green could fit too, but that wouldn't be as cool as blue. So you made a good choice.
It's nice you just didn't colour the character, but also worked on the background making it a nice whole.
