Well, that does sound very interesting. Almost like something from spirited away, ha ha ha. It makes sense that the snail resembles how she cant find her way. Because a snail is slow paced making it difficult to get to places.

oh there is!! :D this girl is from the arc 'Mayoi Snail' in Bakemonogatari. It's a spirit that can't find her destination = P that backpack behind her is the one she carries around (it's like the shell that snails have) well I can't say more because I will give spoilers, if you decided to watch it :D
but if you searched on wikipedia, it surely gave you spoilers XD
AW! She is just to precious! I love her innocent expression and how that snail is just so totally random in the background! Kyah! I love adding snails in my pictures...i wonder if there is some symbolic meaning behind that...time to go search! Ahoy! ...wrong word -__-
