Ahaha, that's my problem right now, I guess, I never practice, I just draw them directly from scratch in Photoshop using my mouse. I guess I could have made the dog more pitch black but it will look odd among the brightness of the whole pic. Haha, lighting technique fail. I'm currently trying to draw some dogs just for my reference so maybe in the future you'll see better-looking dogs rather than just a blurry fuzz. ;)
Try drawing from pictures of animals at first, before you try free hand drawing. That should give you some directions on what technique to use for the eyes and also fur. I think you very well can have stronger lines on a dog while it's in silhouette. It must be extremely fuzzy not to have sharper lines if it at all is a silhouette. Personally I think the overall picture is too bright for a silhouette, also the colouring of the dog is too bright. A silhouette is more pitch black you know? Anyway you get the idea, decide in the future if it's supposed to be a background silhouette or a part of the main picture, in this case that was unclear.
Thank you for the feedback and I'll take your advice in drawing the dog in the future. I didn't use any strong lines for the dog since I was thinking that it's furry and in silhouette so it will be odd to add lines as its outline. And the eyes are my biggest problem in drawing animals, I really have no idea on how to color the eyes, which is why they are just black there. Still practicing drawing animals. But again, thanks for the feedback especially concerning the dog, much appreciated! :)
The dog could have used some more detail and stronger lines like on the person. It's too "flat" and has no shadows or curves, also the eyes are just big black holes. These are things to work at. It doesnt match the fine work you did on the person.
Yay! =D lolz
Thank you so much!

I do like it, I do!

I also LOVE how you drew his hair by the way!
Also I like the dog (creature? XD) thing too!
This actually does look like something you normally wouldn't draw...but it's still kewl and creative! ^^-
Thank you again! =D
*hugs and faves!*

It's actually just experimenting with Photoshop and I kind of went on instinct while coloring this but... let me tell you layer options is your best friend. :D I based the coloring on this tutorial. You should check it out, it's awesome. :)
