I've heard about people spending 15 hours on an art piece of A4 size, so don't worry. If it makes fine art, it's worth the time and effort! :D

To be honest I don't like the tones of the colours. But that's not really to blame on you. You did grat job ROlo! The shading and highltighting of the hair and face went good, you've paid good attention to where you should change darken or lighten up.
