Blood stains and they don't have super concentrated stuff to get rid of it like we do. And he's a guy. He doesn't wash accessories. It's to keep his rat tail from flying in his face. If he knew how to braid hair he could always do that, but he doesn't know how.
I had the wearing the hair bandage for a couple weeks at a time figured out before hand, not the metaphorically stuff even though that would be true. Hey, war isn't clean or pretty.
Did you have that all figured out or did you come up with it on the spot? And that's gross. Wearing something, much less in you hair, for weeks while covered in someone else's blood.

Or you could look at it all metaphorically. Koji's a kunoichi, sure, but she was a private kunoichi and only caused damages to demon worshipping radicals and pirates. Hardly innocent people. Where Kuri is a former soldier for a country bent on taking over the ocean nations. People just trying to defend their homes don't fall into the same group as pirates or radical demon worshippers. So, Kuri's stained and Koji isn't.
You finished it! Yay, Dean. It' looks good. I like the colors too. So.... Kuri's got blood on him, but I don't see that Koji does. What does that mean?
