Thank you for your critique--I really should just sit down, and take as long to draw as I do with wallpapers--I'd probably do so much better, XD

Her eyes.. hair... look...

You know, I think this drawing speaks for itself. What happened? Okay you are probably confused so let me try to explain to you.

You used a specific style of manga drawing for her eyes. Cute bland one, but can be quite hard, yet easy. You made it look simple, but still managed to position the eye well, as well as the sizes and look of them. I REALLY like how you did that.
Second, her nose and mouth are also from a simple style by mangakas, but seeing how you did this this, makes her dangerous yet cute. I definitely give a thumbs up for that.
Her shirt looks okay as well. I like that "Ki" (wood) shaped kanji on her shirt. She looks like one of these fighters for nature or something. xD But seriously, I know that you haven't looked for that kanji, but still it made it look very nice.
And her hair at the end just plays nice for one of your first tries. It is a nice choice and I definitely think that it looks great combined with her facial details.

So what I meant was, you have potential if you ever wanted to take long time sitting and trying to draw.^^

And lol, you wrote realistic there, but this a pure manga drawing. But more realistic unlike your others, yes. :)
Still I like everything that you did and that you have the courage and will to show us that Dev.
