@.@ then then then then thennnnn suddenly this morning my voice was so funny xDDD i sound like a donkey. I tried to sing in the car when i was driving to school oh sarah you should have heard that xD i was laying hysterically. ok so maybe it would have broke your ears but it was still so funny. x3
and the hilarious part is i had to talk to so many professional people today about things like part time jobs and scholarships and etc.etc.etc. x3 it made it a lot easier. they were like "awww" and helped me 8D was the easiest day i have ever had. then i got a parking ticket >////> damn it.

I'm not surprised this is taking so long... Good job you never started counting the dots otherwise you may have been driven to insanity!
I don't think this needs a background, but if you want to give it one then i'd suggest some gentle shading to add definition, rather than drawing some scenic stuff.
Wow this looks amazing, great details with the those dots.
For the background looking at this pic the only thing my hard brain can see is dry grass or jungle, a stupid background in my opinion lol.
Mek sure you finish dis though.

hmm... personally if you would like a background, maybe something that would relate to the animal or the color scheme if you color. Otherwise if you want to leave the background blank I'm sure the picture is very much fine without it ^^
Ohmygosh, those dots are amazingly beautiful! How they are all different is what really makes this piece spectacular! I can tell you have been working very hard on this. The shading, the realism, just everything is coming a long together nicely^^ I hope to see the finished work someday soon~
And I would leave the background blank, in my opinion. Have people focus more on this^^
