Well you really should feel special. I don't just leave comments on everything. Your art really stood out to me and I like that. Can't wait to see more.
The gore effect is something that is played around with a lot, especially in younger teens. I think this is due because they feel that their childhood is dying. Some experiences are nicer than others. Sometimes you will see a young teen drawing a flower that is blooming out of a ditch but others are more of death. Almost like a unforgotten tragedy will forever be with their dying childhood.
I think this picture is nice, over all in idea. But I do have an issue with the eyes. I love how they are colored, but I do not like how they are drawn or aligned. Yes, I do know that everyone has their own style and what not but you can not face alignment issues with such a statement. Especially for anime art. I think maybe if you had made the eyes a little more smaller and attached to her face some it would have been nicer. Also if they were separated a little more. It's good to keep in mind that their is a third, hidden eye, that separates the two.
These slashed marks and lines remind me of anxiety. You lash them all out so fast and strongly it is almost like their is fear in you. I really like the way you express yourself! Nice work!
