I do like your use of textures but I think that some areas could have been a lot smoothed out. Good luck for you future drawings. I'm glad you appreciate my comment.
Aw, so cute ^.^ I love eevee it's one of my favorite Pokemon.
My suggestion would be try to get the lines a bit smoother...if you need them to cover more white streaks try coloring at a 90 degree angle to the other lines. Another suggestion would be to try going over it with a white colored pencil (you have to really press down though) to try and get things to look more solid.

Though I don't believe it is boring in the least I do understand that attitude and I appreciate your opinion. Yeah the sky is not as great as it should be but I do like the grass because it has layers to it. I am still experimenting with my coloring with certain pictures so I always make sure I say that it is an experiment.

I think the composition could have been a little more interesting. Having this pokemon thing flat in the center is kind of boring and I think if maybe if it was at a different angle is would have been a lot more interesting. However the case, I think it works fine being in the center. It brings a lot of attention to the face and it's smile.
I do not know how serious you were about the coloring but if anything I think it could have been a lot smoother. Maybe instead of coloring with colored pencils you could have used a light marker or colored darker. All in all, I am seeing a lot of white areas that could be covered nicely by adding more textures.
Overall it's very cute! You did a great job on the eyes! I really love how you captured Evee's happiness. :D
You're STILL going through that Pokemon phase? =P lol just kidding. Eevee looks so cute though, I WANT ONE!!! NOW! But I don't think I would evolve it into anything because I just like the cute little one. I like Flareon too, but I think she'd be too hot too handle if you know what I mean *nudge nudge*

but i love how you drew eevee. and you did the tail so good too...and the tail really defines eevee so good going on that
