Yes I was happy with it on paper, and I still am happy with it...but once it was in the comp I did notice her head was a bit off and I agree with you on the shoes
I am actually just getting into pencil shading as of late...so any critique I can get for it is awesome.

I think your style is actually one of the most unique on this site. It has that bubble gum pop theme going on.

I have to say I really like her costume design. It is like early new york style. I can't really tell what she is holding though. I think some darker shadows and better details could show it off a lot better.

I also think that shadow would have helped greatly to pop out some awesome qualities in herself. such as on her legs or at the ends of her shoes to show what kind of shoes they were. Heels are normally shiny and i think if you would have added a bright white small line or dot to them it would have showed that off well.

There is a lot of negative space in the background. Maybe a better shaded background would have been nice or a line that showed she was standing on ground.

Alignment wise I feel that her face is a little too pushed in. Don't get me wrong I think it is very beautiful with the dark lips and what not but a face does have dimensions. Showing it farther away from her neck would have done a great deal on her shoulders and would seem like she was so squished.

In the future just try to imagine which things are spaced away and what things connect. I have the same problem with noses! OTL.
