I didn't really notice any of the issues I got with this drawing on yours, but then again, you had a scanner. Dang. You lucky dawg! Maybe I'll just buy one for myself with babysitting money -3- *checks online how much they cost* ..Or not. xD xD xD

That is how I felt about my Sakura picture to! I did re scan her but, I do not want to change it. I mean, what if the challenge maker, or whatever you call them, doesn't like it anymore. I might just post it in my world tomorrow though.

The camera really explains a lot, especially on the details and the grainy features. That was probably caused by the lighting and the resolution. It's okay, I never really scanned my art until this year when we got a scanner for my dad's job! woo hoo!

I do not think the pencil looks too short. Because one thing, all pencils are made differently. And secondly I think if you made her holding a normal length giant pencil, she probably would have a very hard time carrying it, :P

I'm surprised my comments don't turn you "peppercorn" pink. :D

Yeah...Unfortuneately, I don't even have a scanner. I had to take this with my camera ;_; That's why the color's kind of weird, and why the edges of her hair look kind of weird: I had to clean it up...and I suck at cleaning things up. That's definately the part I'm most unsatisfied with...SHE LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER IN REAL LIFE! T-T

As for her leg, yes, I did do something weird xD
I was like, "I'm going to make this fit this way whether she likes it or not!" Hence, it looks a little off...I shouldn't be so stubborn x)

I am extremely happy with how that pencil turned out...It must be kind of short, though. xD

I love your interpretation into black and white shades. Well more of sepia tones but I blame the scanner for that.

I really love the different tones you used for this and also I love where you positioned the lighting. It works very well from the top down. Even though a background or some sort of foreground would have emphasized the shadow more I think it is fine the way it is.

She is very very cute! I can not get over her perfectly proportioned body and the giant pencil! But there is one thing that kind of throws me off. And I do not know if it is because of the way you drew her from or what but her left thigh seems to go into a weird angle. It is like you sliced one of her legs to make it fit there. But that is probably just me.

The lines are really scratchy but it adds a nice texture. Nice work.
