I'm not usually a fan of the "ethereal glow" look, but it seems to work here.
The one thing I would change is making the foreground characters a bit brighter. It would give the image more dynamic range and make it a bit more visually interesting. (If you've got the foreground characters in a separate layer, you can do this really easily by duplicating the layer, setting the layer style to "screen", and then adjusting the opacity until it looks right.)
