PS is really confusing at first and I don’t have elements so I don’t know if my advice will help you much. ;____;

Just keep messing with it and search for tutorials like a mad man and you’ll get better with it in time.

Took me like months to really have a good handle of what I was doing sooo yeahhhhh. PS is a mean one like that.

That reminds me, that’s the girl I have to draw for your art trade! I actually have the picture that you drew of her in my Zune, so I have a ref at my finger tips. She has such cool clothes, I have to draw her sooooonnnn. >:T

Layers can be quite helpful. Especially in complex pictures.
Some people put their lineart on a layer, all of their base colors on another layer, then the shading on another layer, and then the background on another layer.
I do a lot of layers though. Like one layer for skin base, one for skin shading etc etc etc

once you get use to it, I'm sure you'll get use to it. X3

hmmm if you don't like layers, maybe you could try doing a picture w/out lineart or layers. it'd be more like tegakie that way. :D

if your photoshop is like mine, on the top right there should be a menu. If you click on that, it can let you customize the settings on the brush you're using. of course to get to this specific menu, you'll need to be using the brush. XD
